Crowd Erupts as Opposition Chief Introduces Mosiria in Rongai Day After He Was Fired By Sakaja~Video

A dramatic political scene has unfolded in Kajiado County today after a massive crowd erupted in jubilation during a high-stakes public rally.

According to a video report shared by digital news outlet A.M Media, Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has sparked overwhelming excitement among Rongai residents after introducing former Nairobi County Environment Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria.

The unexpected public endorsement has come just a day after Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja relieved Mosiria of his executive duties, making his appearance in Rongai a major talking point.

Earlier in the day, political leaders including Dr. Fred Matiang’i and Ndindi Nyoro have attended a morning service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church before making their way into the packed streets of Rongai town.

As the leaders addressed the gathering, Nyoro has formally acknowledged Mosiria in front of thousands of supporters who have responded with loud cheers and energetic applause.

The viral video footage has captured the charged moment as local residents have welcomed Mosiria warmly, signaling strong public solidarity following his recent dismissal from city hall.

Nyoro and his fellow lawmakers have continued to press their political agenda during the rally, promising free basic education by 2028, improved healthcare services, economic recovery, and job creation.

Political observers have noted that Mosiria’s prominent presence alongside key opposition leaders in Kajiado has underscored shifting political dynamics across the region.

By welcoming the ousted Nairobi official onto their platform, the political figures have effectively turned the Rongai rally into a venue of high-profile political alignment.

Local residents have remained highly engaged throughout the event as public discussions surrounding city governance and regional politics have continued to gather strong momentum.
