POLITICS DIGEST — Kaduna State is witnessing a massive show of political enthusiasm as millions of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), party faithful, stakeholders and well-wishers converge on the Kaduna Township Stadium and Ranchers Bees Stadium ahead of the arrival of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the official presidential campaign flag-off.

The atmosphere across the campaign venues is charged with excitement as supporters gather in anticipation of the President’s arrival, demonstrating their enthusiasm and solidarity with the APC and its leadership.

The gathering underscores Kaduna’s strategic importance in Nigeria’s political landscape and reflects the party’s mobilisation efforts as it prepares to engage Nigerians on its vision, policy priorities and commitment to national development.

As supporters await the President, the event provides an important platform for party leaders and stakeholders to strengthen unity, galvanise grassroots support and communicate the administration’s agenda on economic transformation, infrastructure development, investment and national prosperity.

According to the ruling party New Media Directorate, the growing presence of supporters at the venues reflects the significance of the campaign flag-off and the enthusiasm surrounding the President’s expected arrival. The Directorate also emphasises the importance of peaceful participation, responsible political engagement and constructive dialogue throughout the campaign.

“With Kaduna poised to host this significant political gathering, the APC looks forward to a programme that will reinforce party cohesion, energise its support base and provide an opportunity to articulate its vision for Nigeria’s future.

“The Directorate calls on party members, supporters and the public to maintain order, uphold democratic values and ensure that the event remains peaceful and successful,” the party statement read in part.
