Gibbs scores 90 not out in South Africa win over West Indies

In South Africa, on September 11, 2007, the South African cricket team defeated West Indies by eight wickets in a World T20 match at the Wanderers. Herschelle Gibbs scored 90 not out from 55 balls, while Justin Kemp made 46 not out from 22 balls. The South African team successfully chased a target of 206 runs.

Gibbs and Kemp’s performances

For West Indies, Chris Gayle scored 117 runs from 57 balls. However, this was not enough for the team to win: Gibbs and Kemp helped South Africa reach the target and finish the match with a victory.
