The SebAid Foundation has announced its Second Edition of the National Entrepreneurship & Skills Acquisition Conference, slated for Saturday, 26th September 2026, at the British Council, Accra.

The full-day event, which runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, is being held under the theme: “Think beyond limits, building the mindset for impact enterprise.” According to organizers, the conference is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical, income-generating skills at a time when Ghana is positioning itself as a hub for youth-led innovation and enterprise in West Africa.

This year’s program is structured into three dynamic segments aimed at learning, building, and networking. The day will open with a Morning Session on AI for Business from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, offering practical training on leveraging Artificial Intelligence for business growth, efficiency, and customer engagement. The Main Conference will follow from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featuring keynote addresses and panel discussions with industry leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and policymakers on sustainable entrepreneurship, access to funding, and building resilient businesses.

In a bid to ensure participants leave with tangible skills, the afternoon will be dedicated to hands-on workshops. Attendees can choose from four specialized tracks: Paper Bag Making, which promotes a low-capital, eco-friendly venture in line with Ghana’s plastic waste reduction efforts; Digital Marketing, focusing on online customer acquisition and branding; and Using Excel for Business, which covers data management and financial tracking for SMEs.

Speaking ahead of the event, the founder and Executive Director of SebAid Foundation, Ethel Sebuabe, said the conference is more than just a talk shop.

“This conference presents a timely opportunity to cover a comprehensive skills-building event that speaks directly to Ghana’s economic future and youth empowerment agenda,” she noted. “We invite media professionals to attend, engage with participants and facilitators, and help shine a light on the practical steps being taken to equip Ghana’s next generation of business leaders.”

The event will also feature an exhibition by local vendors, creating a vibrant marketplace for networking and commerce.

SebAid Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering communities through health promotion, skills acquisition, and entrepreneurship development, says it expects over 200 young entrepreneurs, students, and business owners to participate.
