Kalind secures major equipment rental contract for mining operations in Ghana

Kalind Limited has signed a significant Equipment Rental & Services Agreement with AME SAKI Mining and Construction Limited, valued at US$5.263 million (approximately ₹50 crore), to support mining activities in Tarkwa, Ghana.

The agreement, effective from 5th September 2026, spans an initial term of up to 12 months, with the option for extension by mutual consent. Under this contract, Kalind Limited will provide a comprehensive suite of services including the supply and rental of heavy earthmoving and mining equipment, skilled equipment operators, service engineers, maintenance support, spare parts, and logistics services.

This partnership highlights Kalind’s commitment to delivering operational excellence and full-service support in challenging mining environments. The contract’s scope goes beyond merely supplying equipment, ensuring continuous operational efficiency and technical assistance at the designated mining site.

A spokesperson for Kalind Limited stated, “We are proud to collaborate with AME SAKI Mining and Construction Limited to provide not only reliable equipment but also the skilled personnel and support services crucial for the success of mining operations in Tarkwa. This agreement underscores our expertise and dedication to supporting large-scale mining projects.”

The collaboration aims to optimize mining productivity while maintaining high standards of safety and equipment reliability, marking a significant milestone for both companies in the Ghanaian mining sector.
