The Ashanti Regional NPP office at Denyame in Kumasi

THE NEWLY elected Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives will officially start working from their new office building today, Monday, August 31, 2026.

Located at Denyame, a sublime looking neighbourhood in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region, the beautiful edifice was reportedly gifted to the party to boost its operations.

The generous benefactor, according to leading party officials in the region, who demanded anonymity, is a respected and influential member of the party in the Ashanti Region.

They stated that the benevolent person, whose identity has been kept secret for obvious reasons, has given out the building for the party to temporarily use it as office space.

According to them, that same loyal party person has also freely donated a huge parcel of land in Kumasi for the construction of a permanent party office that befits the NPP’s status.

Meanwhile, when the DAILY GUIDE visited the NPP Ashanti Regional office at Denyame on Sunday afternoon, the place was looking very beautiful and ready to be used as office.

At the front view of the building, a huge party billboard had been erected. The wall of the building was also decorated with the red, white and blue colours of the NPP.

Significantly, a beautiful portrait of the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming 2028 elections, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, was also boldly painted on the wall.

Some enthusiastic party supporters and members were also seen putting finishing touches to the various offices in the building, ahead of its grand opening today.

A top party member told the paper that the new NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, and his executives will start work from the office immediately after the opening.

“COKA is in a hurry to lead the NPP to win Ashanti Region for the party, so he doesn’t have time to waste,” the party man, who didn’t want his identity to be disclosed, told the paper.

According to him, there would be a short ceremony where prayers would be said for God’s protection, blessings and guidance to open the office “and work starts afterwards.”
