Popular Black Stars supporter Kailani Ibrahim Kpa, widely known as “Powder Man,” has been arrested over an alleged visa fraud case.

According to a reliable source of Powder Man allegedly collected thousands of US dollars from several individuals with the promise of securing travel to Canada, Nicaragua, and the USA, but failed to deliver and subsequently went into hiding.

He was arrested on Monday, August 24, 2026, at East Legon in Accra by officers from the Documentation and Visa Fraud Unit of the Ghana Police Service Headquarters.

Powder Man is expected to be arraigned before the Accra Circuit Court on Tuesday, August 26, 2026.

The suspect recently gained international prominence as a viral fan who blew white powder during Ghana’s matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, after which various claims and financial disputes emerged regarding overseas travel arrangements.
