Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Chamber of Commerce announced the establishment of the Kenya Business Council. With the aim of enhancing trade and investment cooperation between Dubai and Kenya.

The first meeting of the Council, which was recently held at the headquarters of the Dubai Chambers, witnessed an extensive discussion that addressed ways to enhance investment ties. And explore promising inter-business opportunities.

The meeting also discussed mechanisms for strengthening relations between the business communities in Kenya and Dubai. Ways to share experiences and data, in addition to organizing bilateral business events.

The establishment of the Council reflects Dubai’s growing position as a global hub for Kenyan companies and investors. 146 new Kenyan companies joined the Chamber’s membership last year. This brings the total number of active Kenyan companies registered as members of the Chamber to 587 companies by the end of 2025. With a growth of 9.7% year-on-year.

The value of non-oil trade between Dubai and Kenya reached AED 13.6 billion in 2025, a growth of 2.1% year-on-year. Which reflects the strength of bilateral trade relations.
