Funeral rites for Madam Nnalu Okalazu, Nee Alago, who died recently at the age of 90, will be held on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Amapu Umuachama, Amamba, Uzuakoli in Bende Local Council of Abia State.

A statement by the Okalazu family said there would be a service of songs/wake on Friday, June 19, 2026, at her residence in Amapu Umuachama, Amamba, Uzuakoli at 4:00 p.m.

Body will leave Cottage Mortuary, Lohum, to Ndiarua Akaelu Lodu Imenyi, Amuda Eluama Uzuakoli, and Umueze Amamba Uzuakoli on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10. a.m., while the funeral service will be held at Amapu Umuachama, Amamba Uzuakoll at 11. a.m by Abosso Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ.

Madam Okalazu was a devout Christian and a loving person. She is survived by children, grandchildren and other family members.
