The Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Communications Africa Ltd (Stratcomm Africa), Ms Esther A.N. Cobbah, has been honoured by the Ghana Employers’ Association (GEA) for her outstanding contribution to leadership development and the advancement of women in leadership.

The recognition was presented at the 5th GEA Annual Leadership Conference held at the Alisa Hotel on May 28, 2026.

Ms Cobbah was celebrated for her exceptional dedication and service as Facilitator of the GEA NHO Female Future Programme, a leadership initiative that equips women with the principles, skills, including confidence, and organisational savvy required to excel in leadership positions.

Since 2019 and over the course of ten cohorts, Ms Cobbah has played a significant role in shaping the leadership journeys of close to 500 female professionals, thus helping to strengthen female representation in decision-making spaces across Ghana and other countries in Africa.

She has systematically taken them through leadership and Rhetoric modules.

Through her facilitation, mentorship and practical leadership insights, she has contributed to building a pipeline of confident and capable women leaders who continue to make meaningful contributions within their organisations and society in general.

The recognition further reinforces Ms Cobbah’s reputation as one of Ghana’s most respected communication and leadership professionals. Throughout her career, she has consistently championed leadership development, strategic communication, and professional excellence, both through her personal engagements and through the work of Stratcomm Africa. Receiving the recognition.

Ms Cobbah says she dedicates the award to Ms Yvonne Asare Yeboah, who has been the pillar of the Female Future Programme in Ghana since its inception.

As Founder of Stratcomm Africa, Ms Cobbah has led the growth of the company into the country’s premier strategic communications consultancy and an agency respected on the continent and indeed globally. Ms Cobbah is currently the President of the International Public Relations Association and also President of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana.

Under her leadership, Stratcomm Africa, known for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and impact, has continued to influence national conversations, support institutional transformation, and deliver strategic communication solutions that strengthen organisations and communities.

The honour from the Ghana Employers’ Association reflects not only Ms Cobbah’s personal commitment to developing others, but also the values that underpin Stratcomm Africa’s work. It demonstrates the importance of investing in people, creating opportunities for growth, and using leadership as a tool for positive change.

For Stratcomm Africa, the recognition is a proud affirmation of the organisation’s belief that leadership is most effective when it empowers others to succeed. This is something we are experiencing every day in our work with Ms Cobbah.

It also aligns strongly with the organisation’s own commitment, which places people development, continuous improvement and excellence at the centre of organisational growth.

As Stratcomm Africa celebrates this achievement, the recognition serves as a reminder of the influence that purposeful leadership can have on individuals, organisations and society. It is also a testament to the enduring impact of leaders who choose to invest their knowledge, experience and time in helping others realise their potential.

The recognition of Ms Cobbah, our founder, by the Ghana Employers’ Association is not only a personal honour; it is a reflection of the leadership values that continue to shape our organisation, Stratcomm Africa and inspire excellence within and beyond the organisation. Congratulations Ms. Cobbah.
