Zagadat Capital GH. Ltd has acquired a substantial stake of 17.31 per cent in Intravenous Infusions PLC, a pharmaceutical manufacturer listed on the Ghana Alternative Exchange, in a transaction that signals growing investor confidence in the country’s healthcare manufacturing sector.

According to a notice issued on May 18, 2026 and released to the market, Zagadat Capital, which has Nigerian musician and entrepreneur Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade as its Chief Investment Officer, acquired 47,514,775 shares in the company, which has a total issued share capital of 274,410,000.

The acquisition was executed through open-market purchases on the Ghana Alternative Exchange, with Laurus Africa Securities acting as the licensed dealing member.

Zagadat Capital stated that the shares were acquired as part of a strategic long-term investment initiative focused on supporting Ghana’s healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. The investment, the firm said, reflects confidence in the future of local pharmaceutical manufacturing and the broader healthcare sector in Ghana.

Zagadat Capital believes that Intravenous Infusions PLC remains a company of significant long-term strategic value with strong growth potential within Ghana’s healthcare ecosystem.

Zagadat Capital stated that the investment is not intended to result in a takeover or change in control of the company. The purpose of the investment, the firm explained, is to consolidate a strategic position in support of the company’s long-term growth, sustainability, and value creation for all stakeholders.

The acquisition follows the release of the company’s 2025 annual report, which showed that Intravenous Infusions PLC operates in the manufacturing sector and is listed under the ticker symbol IIL on the GAX. The company, incorporated in Ghana, is engaged in the production of intravenous fluids and other pharmaceutical products.

The notice was issued pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Securities Industry Act, 2016 (Act 929) and the Ghana Stock Exchange Listing Rules, which require disclosure of substantial shareholdings in listed companies.
