Beyoncé’s luxury haircare brand, Cécred, has officially made its debut in Africa — and Ghana is the first market on the continent to welcome the global beauty line.
The brand confirmed its Africa rollout in September 2026, launching both online and through select beauty retailers across Ghana. This marks Cécred’s first African entry since its US debut in February 2024.
Ghana now serves as the gateway for West Africa, with products already available via cecred.com and through local distributors. Shipping and in‑store availability are active in Accra and Kumasi, making the country the brand’s primary hub for regional distribution.
According to Beyoncé’s team, Ghana was selected for its vibrant beauty culture, expanding middle class, and strong demand for premium haircare tailored to natural and textured hair. The country’s growing influence as a beauty retail centre in West Africa also played a key role.
Prices in Ghana range between GH¢300–600, aligning with US pricing of $30–$52.
While Cécred has not officially announced its next African destinations, industry expectations point to Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya, given their market size and established beauty distribution networks.
