The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has officially opened ticket sales for the historic international friendly between Wales and Ghana, scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Cardiff City Stadium.

This fixture marks a momentous occasion in football history as the first time an African nation has played a senior men’s international match on Welsh soil.

Beyond the novelty of the matchup, the game serves as the centerpiece for the FAW’s 150th-anniversary celebrations, honoring a century and a half of Welsh footballing heritage.

For the visiting ‘Black Stars’, the clash represents a vital component of their final preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they are slated to compete in Group L against powerhouse opponents England, Croatia, and Panama.

Ticketing is being managed via the FAW’s digital platform, with phased access for different supporter groups.

Ghana fans were granted general public access starting May 5, 2026, while the Welsh ‘Red Wall’ members currently enjoy an exclusive priority window that closes on May 11.

General public sales for any remaining seats will commence at noon on Monday, May 11.

Organizers have prioritized affordability for the 7:45 PM BST kick-off, with adult tickets priced at £20, seniors and young adults at £14, and juniors at just £8.

All transactions are subject to a £3 booking fee.
