Chief of Staff to President John Dramani Mahama, Julius Debrah, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to empowering women-led businesses and promoting inclusive economic growth following his participation in the opening ceremony of the 11th Ghana Female CEO Summit held in Accra.

In a statement shared after the event, Hon. Julius Debrah described the Summit as an important platform that continues to spotlight the critical role women play in strengthening institutions, stabilizing communities, and driving economic resilience across the country.

Addressing distinguished women leaders, entrepreneurs and industry players at the Summit, he emphasized that women in Ghana are not only participating in business and enterprise but are increasingly becoming the backbone of economic activity in many sectors.

According to him, the government of President John Dramani Mahama remains focused on creating an enabling environment that allows women-led enterprises to grow, scale up and compete effectively on the global stage.

“On behalf of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, I reaffirm Government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment where women-led enterprises can thrive, scale, and compete globally,” he stated.

Hon. Debrah further stressed that the administration is committed to building an economy that rewards hard work and innovation while expanding opportunities for all citizens, particularly women and young entrepreneurs.

He has noted that the discussions and engagements at the Summit left him optimistic about Ghana’s future, expressing confidence that the country’s “best days are ahead.”

The Chief of Staff also called for collective efforts toward building a Ghana where opportunities are accessible to everyone regardless of background, and where young women are inspired to pursue leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship with confidence.

The 11th Ghana Female CEO Summit brought together influential women leaders, business executives, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss strategies to advance women’s leadership, enterprise development, and inclusive economic transformation in Ghana.
