Prince Krah

Police have launched a nationwide manhunt for a serving soldier, Prince Krah, who is alleged to have murdered his friend, Ebenezer Kwabena Obiri, and his wife, Mary Anim, at Saki near Tema Golf City on May 1, 2026.

The victims, both found in a pool of blood in their apartment, are believed to have been attacked with a machete.

Ebenezer Kwabena, a 45-year-old fuel tanker driver, and his 22-year-old pregnant wife were discovered lifeless, while their three-year-old daughter was found alive in the same room after reportedly being left alone for nearly three days without food or water.

The Ghana Police Service has since declared Prince Krah wanted in connection with the double murder, describing him as the prime suspect in what investigators believe was a robbery gone wrong.

According to police sources, Krah, aged about 30 and recently transferred to Tamale, is suspected to have carried out the attack after learning that the deceased was in possession of a substantial amount of money, estimated between GH¢100,000 and GH¢470,000, intended for fuel purchases.

Investigations further revealed that the suspect had been living with the couple in a chamber-and-hall apartment. The male victim was last seen in Krah’s company on the night of April 30, shortly before the incident occurred.

A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Kpone Magistrate Court on May 4, 2026, as security agencies intensified efforts to track him down.

Krah is described as dark in complexion, about 5.7 feet tall, and of a stout build. He was last seen wearing a Lacoste shirt and a pair of jeans trousers.

In a statement signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the police indicated that the suspect has since gone into hiding, with intelligence suggesting he may be within the Kakusunanka or Kamina Barracks in Tamale.

The police have placed a reward of GH¢100,000 for credible information leading to his arrest, and are urging members of the public to assist with information by contacting the nearest police station or calling emergency numbers 191 or 112.
