The Mirror’s annual Mother’s Day buffet lunch makes a return this Sunday with an afternoon dedicated to celebrating mothers through feasting, entertainment and family bonding at the Labadi Beach Hotel at 12 noon.

Organised in partnership with The Mirror, the weekend newspaper of the Graphic Communications Group Ltd., the event will bring together families from across the country for a memorable and intimate celebration for mothers and mother figures.

Highlight

The highlight of the event will be a special buffet experience led by the hotel’s Head Chef, Ahingwah Akwetey.

Speaking to The Mirror in an interview, Chef Akwetey said the hotel remained committed to delivering quality meals, excellent presentation and attentive customer service throughout the celebration.

He expressed his dedication to serving a carefully curated menu made with fresh ingredients inspired by both local and international cuisine.

He added that food safety, hygiene and cleanliness would remain the top priorities while guests with special dietary needs would also be catered for.

Aside from the dining experience, the celebration will feature live performances and interactive sessions designed to entertain the guests throughout the period.

Families attending the event will also have the opportunity to publicly celebrate and eulogise their mothers and mother figures during the programme.

The hotel’s Head of Sales, George Ayisi, said the event had been planned to create joyful and lasting memories for families while offering mothers a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

He disclosed further that guests would also have access to special wellness packages, including spa treatments and weekend stay options, with discounts available for patrons attending the buffet lunch.

As part of the build-up, the Director, Marketing, Graphic Communications Group Ltd., Franklin Sowa, said the annual event had grown into one of The Mirror’s most anticipated celebrations due to the quality experiences consistently delivered over the years.

He said many families now eagerly anticipated the programme each year, with some regularly making enquiries ahead of time about the next edition.

Mr Sowa also acknowledged the contribution of sponsors who supported the event annually through gifts, souvenirs and lucky dip packages for mothers.

With tickets already selling fast, he urged interested patrons to purchase theirs early to avoid missing out on the celebration.

He added that beyond the entertainment and dining, the event also served as an opportunity for families to pause and appreciate the sacrifices, love and dedication of mothers.

Tickets

To be part of this memorable celebration, patrons can book their tickets at GH₵750 for single entry and GH₵2,800 for a family of four.

Guests are encouraged to secure their seats early by dialing *725*7076# or calling 054 801 9572 or 024 220 2447.

This year’s event is supported by an impressive line-up of sponsors, including Ecobank, Woodin, Everpack, GC Brand, GB Foods Ghana, Madar, Geely and Peugeot.

Their continued partnership adds colour, value and excitement to the celebration, helping to create a truly memorable Mother’s Day experience for all guests.
