Hadzixevi to release new project “Anye Ne Meku” on March 10

Ghanaian Gospel artist Hadzixevi, whose real name is David Mawutor, is set to release a new project titled “Anye Ne Meku” on March 10, 2026, a date that also marks his birthday.

The project is expected to be a powerful and emotional release that reflects Hadzixevi’s musical talent and spiritual ministry.

“Anye Ne Meku,” which translates from Ewe as “I Should Have Been Dead,” is a heartfelt and reflective body of work that focuses on divine preservation, grace, and gratitude. The project highlights the reality that many life challenges could have destroyed us, but by God’s mercy we are still alive.

Hadzixevi delivers spiritually rich lyrics in both English and Ewe, creating a compelling listening experience that is culturally rooted yet globally relatable. The project blends Gospel music with vibrant Soukous inspired rhythms, producing a distinctive and captivating sound.

“This project is a testimony,” says Hadzixevi. “There are moments in life where you look back and realize you shouldn’t be alive but God kept you. ‘Anye Ne Meku’ is my gratitude song and my declaration of faith.”

Based in Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana, Hadzixevi continues to use music as a tool for ministry, encouraging listeners to focus on eternal values and place their trust in God’s unchanging nature.

“Anye Ne Meku” stands as an anthem of hope, resilience, and thanksgiving, reminding believers that even when life feels fragile, God remains faithful.

The new project, which is his 27th album, contains 11 tracks including two remixes “Nkekewo Levorvorm” from his 7th album and “Kristotorwoe” from his maiden album. The project will be available on all major digital streaming platforms on March 10, 2026.
