Based on the draw table, Spanish giants Real Madrid, following their participation in the play-offs, could meet either Manchester City or Sporting Lisbon.
Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) face a tough challenge, as they could be drawn against European heavyweights Barcelona or Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray, who overcame a huge challenge from Juventus to progress through the play-off stage, could meet one of the Premier League clubs, either Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur.
Italian side Atalanta appear to have the toughest potential opponents, as they could face two of the most in-form clubs in the competition: Arsenal or Real Madrid.
