Asante Kotoko: Eleven member Board formed

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club’s Global supporters group Chairman, Solomon Ofosu-Ware has inaugurated an eleven-member advisory board to promote and steer the club’s global reach.

Ofosu-Ware, elected chairman last August, expressed pride and hope for the revival and sustainability of a more inclusive support base.

The Advisory Board comprises accomplished professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, and community leaders with expertise in governance, sports administration, law, medicine, finance, education, and international consultancy.

Its strategic guidance, strengthened institutional governance, and enhanced global competitiveness will ensure the club’s vision is advanced through evidence-based decision-making, innovative strategies, and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

The Advisory Board, a diverse group of professionals, will support the Global Supporters Group by fostering unity, mobilising resources, and promoting initiatives that uphold Asante Kotoko’s prestige both locally and internationally.

Their resilient, forward-looking, and united spirit reflects the Porcupine Warriors’ essence.

The advisory board includes:

Nana Kena Frempong, an accomplished Associate Professor of Statistics.

Dr. Hubert, a trained sociologist with a PhD in Sociology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Professor Joseph Oppong Akowuah, the Head of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Daniel Owusu-Ansah, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History, Political Science, and Public Administration at the Kwame Nkrumah University.

Yaw Tweneboah Kodua, a dedicated professional with a strong academic foundation in the social sciences and law.

Dr. Isaac Donkor, a trained medical practitioner with over two decades of experience in diagnostics and public health.

Dr. Nana Kwasi Bredu Antwi-Berko, a seasoned Medical Laboratory Scientist with over two decades of experience in diagnostics and public health.

Dr. Michael Nimo, an accomplished economic historian, studies the long-term interactions between economic systems, social change, and environmental conditions in Africa and beyond.

Clement Kwame Opoku Gyamfi, a private legal practitioner and football administrator, has a distinguished record of nurturing football talent from the grassroots to the professional level.

Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, the former CEO of Ghana Digital Centres Ltd, led the development of technology parks and digital centres to drive ICT-led economic growth and job creation.

Ezekiel Bonsu Boakye,an accomplished banking professional, is recognised for driving efficiency, strengthening compliance, enhancing customer service, and achieving sustained branch growth.
