A Nigerian man has fired back at critics after his wife came under heavy criticism on TikTok following the posting of their traditional introduction video.

According to him, some social media users took to the comment section to make damaging allegations about his wife’s past as a former ‘street girl’, a move he described as frustrating and unnecessary.

In his words, he said:…Read More…>>>

“Do you know you could just stay if you don’t want to marry and be happy doing that? Don’t get frustrated and bring your frustration online trying to spoil people’s joy and happiness.”

The husband said he was shocked by the kind of comments being dropped by grown men, stressing that such statements amount to character assassination.

He noted that making sensitive and defamatory claims online without proof is dangerous and unacceptable.

He added that he is calm about the situation because his wife herself is not disturbed by the accusations, insisting that if she were affected, he would have taken decisive action.

“We dated for years, not be one, not be two, not be three. She has never once given me a reason to suspect her. I know you can’t relate. Go and fix your problem,” he added

The man’s response has since sparked reactions online, with many praising him for defending his wife and calling out what they described as toxic behavior and jealousy on social media.
