Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey, has warned that there will be serious consequences this year for married men who engage in extramarital affairs with single women, if they do not desist from it.
Naija News reports that Pastor Nathaniel, while addressing a congregation in a video making the rounds online, cautioned married men against deceiving and engaging in affairs with single women under false pretences.
According to the 44-year-old singer, the warning is not a joke, stressing that those involved in such practices will not survive this year.
He said, “If you’re a married man and you go about deceiving young girls, leading them on. Some even go as far as sleeping with them.
“I place a demand on the grace of God upon my life. If you try it this year, you won’t survive.
“Your shame will not be forgotten. It will be on social media. If you take a woman to a hotel, you lie; meanwhile, if you are married, you will not come out of that hotel. If you like, take what I’m saying jokingly.”
Nathaniel Bassey also warned women who knowingly get involved with married men, cautioning that greed or material desires would not shield them from serious consequences.
He added, “You too, you are a lady. If you know that a man is married and you know it in your heart, but because of greed, attention, Brazilian wigs, Brazilian hair, or designer bags, you choose to go ahead, if you try it, you won’t survive it.”
