Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi is being linked with a move to Asante Kotoko SC.

The report of former Dreams FC first choice has found waves in the media space with a surprise move to Asante Kotoko SC before transfer deadline. According to the Ghana Football Association, the second transfer window shuts exactly Friday January 16, 2026 11:59.

Agbasi is currently with Hearts of Oak SC but likely to depart to arch rivals Asante Kotoko SC with claims of the shot stopper stating unhappy at the club and ready to leave should an offer come calling.

He’s being linked to Kotoko as a replacement for goalkeeper Mohammed Camara who is confirmed to be departing the Reds at the end of 2025/26 Ghana Premier league season.

Solomon Agbasi is revealed, has no official contract with the Phobias, and could leave for any offer. He joined Hearts of Oak SC at the beginning of the 2025/26 football campaign but without a deal.

He’s impressed at the club after taking over from Benjamin Asare who got sidelined with injury. Agbasi with 8 league appearance, boost of 6 clean sheets, a case for commanding first choice position at any club in the domestic league.

The 25-year old has placed himself better and well considered to mend Asante Kotoko SC goalpost, when captured before the closure of transfer deadline.
