Xabi Alonso has left his role as Real Madrid head coach
Xabi Alonso has left Real Madrid by mutual consent with immediate effect, the club confirmed.
Madrid praised the former midfielder’s legacy and values, and announced Alvaro Arbeloa, previously in charge of Castilla, as the new first-team head coach.
