‘It Is Obvious Ned Nwoko Urgently Needs Rehabilitation Rather Than Regina Daniels’

Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, has slammed Senator Ned Nwoko over his latest statement accusing his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, of taking drugs.

Naija News reports that the senator’s media team rejected claims of domestic abuse, calling them an attempt to shift attention from long-standing health and behaviour concerns.

They said independent toxicology reports showed the presence and misuse of multiple substances, supporting concerns that were raised privately months before the issue became public.

According to the team, Ned Nwoko had repeatedly encouraged professional help, including therapy and structured rehabilitation, long before the matter went public.

The October message, they said, reflected frustration and a push for continued professional support, not violence.

The communication team added that financial limits introduced by the senator were meant to prevent harmful behaviour, not to punish.

Reacting to the statement, Georgina, in a lengthy post via Instagram, frowned at Ned Nwoko’s persistent online behaviour and witch-hunt campaign against Regina.

She stated that Nwoko’s behaviour reflects the classic behaviour of a malignant narcissist, and it is evident that he urgently needs psychological rehabilitation rather than Regina.

According to the thespian, Ned Nwoko’s attitude is unbecoming of a responsible and honourable man, adding that if anything happens to Regina, accountability must fall where it belongs.

He said, “What Nigerians are witnessing with Senator Ned Nwoko is deeply disturbing. In all fairness and with a deep sense of responsibility, it is obvious that Senator Ned Nwoko urgently needs psychological rehabilitation rather than Regina. His attitude is unbecoming of a responsible and honorable man.

“His persistent behavior online and his witch haunt campaign against his estranged wife and a young woman he started bedding at 17 according to her, reflects the classic behavior of a malignant narcissist ; a person who seeks total control over another human being: their life, their choices, even their sense of self.

“A man nearing 70 publicly battling a 24 year old woman a young woman who entered that relationship at 17 should alarm every Nigerian. She has since grown, matured, and chosen to leave a path that no longer serves her. In any free society, the right to walk away from a toxic relationship is fundamental.

“Yet instead of respecting her choice, he continues a campaign of character destruction labeling her a “drug addict,” damaging her reputation, and using their children as leverage to coerce her return. This is not concern. This is control.

“She voluntarily submitted to independent drug testing abroad and was cleared. An actual addict someone who cannot function without substances does not live the life we all see her living. Admitting poor judgment does not make a person an addict. Language matters. False labels destroy lives.

“What is unfolding is dangerous. It follows a familiar pattern: when a woman says “I am done,” the same tactics appear intimidation, defamation, manipulation, and relentless pressure. If anything happens to this young woman, accountability must fall where it belongs.

“Senator Ned, leave her alone. She has said enough.Because your smear campaign against this young woman will not be sustained. Regina might not have the grammatical acumen to write epistles like you, but guess what, many good and just Nigerians will speak up for her.

“You are petty. It is obvious that you are the one in need of psychological rehabilitation. You need help Chinedu.”
