Dr. Adom Tufuor, the Executive Director of Success Through Communication (STComm), and his team organized “Campaign and Win” training sessions for New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwesiminstim Constituency Leaders on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
The training comprised two sessions. In the first session, participants were educated on various topics including politics, propaganda, communication strategies, campaign effects, engaging with floating voters, theme selection, candidate image management, managing political attacks, economic messaging, the dog whistle strategy, rules of political engagement, emotional appeals, media interactions, focus group utilization, projector use in small groups, incumbent versus challenger strategies, and highlighting party achievements.
The second session focused on political campaign fundraising, fundraising techniques, cash disbursement strategies, the role of campaign financiers, the importance of physical, spiritual, and financial protection, grassroots engagement, rewarding grassroots efforts, security and intelligence considerations, reasons for election losses, and effective campaigning strategies.
Participants were encouraged to campaign as if they were candidates themselves.
The success of the event was attributed to the hard work of 1st Vice Chairman Mr. Yeboah, Hon. Perpertual Appiah (Constituency Women’s Organizer), Secretary Augustine, Mr. Kingsley Donkor (Apremdo Coordinator), and other members of the Constituency Campaign Team.
