ATPU Nab Another Terror Suspect in Ruiru Who Confessed To Have Military Knowledge and Was In Saudia

The Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) is currently holding a 35-year-old man who has been labeled as a terror suspect. According to a report by police, the man is of Somali origin and was going to Githunguri in Kiambu. 

He didn’t have any form of identification when he was arrested. The man has been identified as one Ismael Abdikadir Hassan. He was Nabbed by officers guarding Tatu City. 

He had reportedly approached a guard seeking accommodation. However, the guard was not comfortable and immediately alerted the police officers of the man’s presence. 

The officers immediately arrested Mr. Hassan and took him to Ruiru police station for interrogation. At the station, the man told the officers that he was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, before being taken to Saudi Arabia in 2005. 

The man also told the officers that he had been living in the California area of Eastleigh, Nairobi and that he had handed over his phone and national ID to a person named Frank of Nakuru.

The man also confessed that he has knowledge of military training though he has not attended any military institution.
