Prophet Owusu Bempah Settles Confusion Around IGP’s Prohibition On Doom Prophecies

The renowned Prophet of God, Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah has delivered a powerful message to settle the confusion that has erupted from the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, Dr Akuffo Dampare on the prophetic ministry. In his early sermon to the church tonight, Apostle Dr Owusu Bempah advised that the Bible has a record of such prohibitions in Numbers 23, and that such reference should guide prophets and other men of God in these challenging times.

He explained that prophecies are revealed unto the Prophet by God but the manner at which it is communicated never comes with a manual to guide the Prophet. He noted that the prophet is obliged to communicate with wisdom without causing the message to be altered in its meaning and impact to whom it is directed.

Apostle Dr Owusu Bempah indicated that God Almighty does not order a prophet or man of God to make public a vision or prophetic message unless it is provoked by the Holy Ghost. In those circumstances, he said “the Prophet must exercise control over the message and determine how and when to deliver it.”

He added that those that have wisdom in the Prophetic employ figures of speech and proverbial language to convey a vision or prophetic message in public so that the message is not miscommunicated. He continued that there are a few cases where the messenger (Prophet) is possessed by the Holy Ghost and a message is delivered instantaneously.

“So you have to employ proverbs or figures of speech to deliver a particular message. The message must be guided with wisdom and that was even how prophecies were delivered in ages,” he said.

His sermon is intended to calm followers and believers of the Prophetic Ministry from the tension which had risen from the IGP’s directive on doom Prophecies. Should his colleague men of God embrace the wisdom in his message, they can avoid the wrath of the law.
