One of the external examinations that students write and are very excited is the WASSCE. This kind of examination ushers SHS leavers into the tertiary education level after successfully passing. When most of the final year senior high school graduates are done with WASSCE, the females especially tend to braid their hairs and a lot even before their results are released.
Almost every year, a section of students cry over the results while another group smile after seeing their results. Most of the students who cry after seeing their results argue that they wrote more and expect better grades than what they have been given. Some even go to the extent of attempting suicide as a result of woeful performances.
This year’s WASSCE results have been released and students have began checking. Some are happy over their results while others aren’t. A video going viral on social media platforms sees a female SHS graduate crying bitterly after checking her results.
After her results were printed and handed over to her, this girl started to cry and scream in the presence of those present. She could be heard saying; “ennye sei na mekyerew ye” which means “that’s not how I wrote it”. She was being consoled by a woman seated by her side.
The video has hence ginr viral.
