First Deputy speaker of Parliament Mr Joe Osei Wusu popularly known as Joe Wise led the members of Parliament to pray for Right Honorable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, other members of Parliament and the entire country.
The Prayer centered on wisdom for the President and speaker to govern the country and Parliament House. The parliamentary Prayer isn’t novel or something new.
Before the start of government business in the house, the speaker leads the entire house to make the prayer exercise. Today they centered on Good health devoid of sickness and death. They also prayed against Poverty and peace for all Ghanaians.
The Saddest thing was that almost 200 MPs were absent for today’s sitting. This is Per the images and videos shown on their official Facebook page.

After the parliamentary prayer, the house was adjourned to fore noon on Tuesday 7th December 2021. May the good lord answer their prayer.
