Rosemond Alade Brown popularly known as Akuapem Polo has been ordered to go back to Nsawam Prison to continue her 90 days Jail term with hard labor. This was after the Accra High Court dismissed her petition to quash the decision of the Circuit Court.
Justice Ruby Aryeetey told the family of Akuapem Polo to get a competent person to cater for her ( Akuapem Polo’s) son.
The sadness scene in the court room was when Akuapem Polo was saying good bye to her son. She hugged her son and whispered some words in his ears. They both started crying as they waited for the Prison van to send her back to Jail.
In the middle of this year, Akuapem Polo was arrested for indecent exposure. She was accused of showing her nakedness to her son who is a minor.
According to Akuapem Polo, showing her nakedness to her son was the greatest gift for his birthday. To her, she wanted him to always remember where he came from and how she suffered before birthing him.
