Week 20 of the Ghana Premier League matches played between January 24 to 25, 2026, produced thrilling results and major talking points as clubs battled for glory and sought to make an impact.

Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on January 25, 2026.

Kwame Poku’s brilliant bicycle kick goal set the tone for the team, with Albert Amoah adding a second and Ndongani Samba sealing the win to make it 3-0.

Dreams FC drew 1-1 against Young Apostles in a keenly contested game after Kofi Kumah’s opener for the home side was cancelled out by Richmond Nsiah’s strike.

Sena Ati and Lawson Bekui’s goals for Hohoe United were not enough to secure victory, as Vision FC fought back to level the game 2-2 thanks to goals from Mohammed Sam and Emmanuel Sanja.

Aduana Stars defied the odds to secure a crucial away win against Swedru All Blacks, with Benjamin Tsivanyo’s brace sealing the victory.

Accra Hearts of Oak reignited their campaign with a 3-0 away win over Eleven Wonders to boost their title push. Mawuli Wayo, Martin Karikari, and Kelvin Asibey were on the scoresheet for the Phobians.

In other results, Berekum Chelsea recorded a 2-0 win against Bibiani Gold Stars, while Medeama kept their title hopes alive with a 3-1 victory over Karela United.

Samartex beat Nations FC 2-0 at home, and Bechem United defeated Heart of Lions 1-0.

League Table

After 20 games, the battle for the summit of the league table remains highly competitive among the top four teams.

Medeama lead with 43 points.

Aduana Stars, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak are level on 35 points, occupying second to fourth positions.

Samartex sit fifth with 34 points.

Bibiani Gold Stars are sixth with 33 points.

At the bottom of the table:

Young Apostles are 16th with 23 points.

Hohoe United are 17th with 20 points.

Eleven Wonders remain 18th with just 9 points.
