“Jesus is King” – Wizkid breaks his silence hours after setting the internet on fire

In a new twist, Afrobeat singer Wizkid, who shook up the internet early this morning, is back again.

Taking to the X-Platform, he simply stated, “Jesus is King” accompanied with his infamous bird emoji and the love emoji.

This is coming after his controversial comments which he made earlier today. Recall that Kemi Filani had reported some hours ago that Wizkid, while engaging with his fans, took a very clear swipe at artist Davido by sharing a viral video of Davido allegedly begging a lady. He told his fans to beg him just like Davido was begging the lady if they wanted him to release a new song.

Now recall that he had gone ahead to shade Ladipo as well as Don Jazzy. Ladipo had made an earlier tweet where he insinuated that Afrobeat artists were going through a phase where their careers were going off. Responding to this, Wizkid stated that he had nothing to say to somebody who was signed to an influencer taking a clear jab at Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy, who obviously might have been offended by this, unfollowed him on Instagram.

His fans had proceeded to dig up evidence to prove that Don Jazzy is an influencer. While some fans took to social media to defend him, others were more actionable as they dug up a picture of Don Jazzy when he won the Music Influencer of the Year from Pulse TV. They expressed that he had not been lying with his claims that Don Jazzy is an influencer.
