The “Mafo” crooner who has been in the center of the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death is is the drawing the attention of netizens with a surprising revelation.
The musician has reportedly decided to raise funds for Mohbad’s son despite the speculations surrounding him.
This gesture was reported by media personality and artist Samklef. Let’s recall that he had also taken a stand to free Naira Marley from the allegations swirling around him in the aftermath of Mohbad’s untimely death.
Samklef’s had spoken in the importance of being logical and rational in thinking rather than being emotional. A lot of people had been quick to attack Naira Marley following his public altercations with Mohbad and so they readily blamed him for the passing of Mohbad.
He cautioned Netizensagainst jumping to conclusions fueled by emotions.
The controversy began with the emergence of a troubling video that showed Mohbad being harassed by Naira Marley’s aide, Sam Larry. The video quickly went viral, causing outrage and sparking demands for accountability and justice for Mohbad. However, the Nigerian police swiftly addressed these rumors, clarifying that no arrests had been made in connection with the case. Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the spokesperson for the Lagos Annex of the FCID, confirmed that the reports of Naira Marley and Sam Larry’s arrest were false, quelling the misinformation that had circulated.
Davido has also previously sent 2 million to the family of Mohbad while a man had also sent funds to Mohbad’s wife with a promise of sponsoring his son’s education.
