Kante To Miss World Cup In Qatar After Surgery

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will be on the sidelines for four months after undergoing surgery on his injured hamstring.

The news means Kante will miss France’s defense of the World Cup in Qatar, which kicks off in November.

The 31-year-old has only played twice for the west London side this season, and his last game was against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in August.

After the visit to a specialist, Kante and Chelsea reached an agreement for the midfielder to go for surgery.
