A new report as reported by People Daily has revealed that on June 9 at around 6:28 a.m., Constable Sharon Cheboi made a second call to technician Kevin Matava, instructing him to proceed to Central Police Station.
She told him to bring a new hard drive that would replace the existing one on the CCTV server, this move followed an earlier failed attempt to delete specific CCTV footage from June 6 and 7, which the technician said was only possible by formatting the entire storage drive.

According to a senior detective, Constable Cheboi also instructed the technician not to wear any reflector or clothing that would identify him as a technician, possibly to avoid drawing attention during the tampering operation.
This incident is part of an ongoing investigation into the cover-up of Albert Ojwang’s murder. Detectives have so far recorded statements from at least 23 people, including 17 officers from the DCI and personnel from Central and Mawego police stations, among them OCS Tallam.
