Mr Machogu claimed that teachers are overburdening the students leaving no time for them to rest. He has warned teachers forcing students to report to school before dawn and leaving after dusk.
However Mr Machogu has clarified that the students will still have their own preps without teachers. This will make them have their own studying time. Education CS gave new directives that classes should start 8:00am to 3:45pm. This will give students enough rest and doing other curriculum activities.
Machogu gave a tough warning to the schools which will be caught ferrying students as late as 10pm. He further clarified that some students walk in streets so early in order to make time for remedial classes something he won’t allow to happen again.
