The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup final will be played on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The showdown will see Dreams FC face Nations FC in what promises to be a compelling contest in Accra, with both sides chasing silverware and a place in continental competition.

Dreams FC head into the final with experience at this stage, aiming to secure their second FA Cup title. Their route to the final has been impressive, overcoming Semper Fi, Asanska FC, Inter Allies, Heart of Lions and Medeama SC, whom they edged in a closely fought semi-final at the Swedru Sports Stadium.

Nations FC, on the other hand, are chasing a first major trophy in their history. They have also shown resilience throughout the competition, defeating Ebony FC, AshantiGold SC, Swedru All Blacks, Berekum Chelsea and Aduana FC to reach the final.

With both teams enjoying strong cup runs, the final is expected to deliver a competitive encounter as they battle for domestic glory.

Beyond lifting the trophy, there is an added incentive at stake. The winner of the MTN FA Cup will secure qualification to the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup, raising the stakes ahead of what is set to be a thrilling finale in the capital.
