In Baltimore, United States, South Africa’s rugby team will play the fourth and final Test match against New Zealand with one enforced change to the lineup. Damian Willemse, who has recovered from an injury, will play at fullback in place of Cheslin Kolbe. Kolbe fractured his jaw in the third match of the series, which took place last weekend in Soweto.

Changes to the lineup

South Africa head coach Rassie Erasmus has also rotated the scrum-halves: Morne van den Berg will start, while Cobus Reinach will begin the match among the substitutes. TimesLIVE reports on the team lineup.

Lineup and situation in the series

South Africa’s starting lineup also includes Kurt-Lee Arendse, Jesse Kriel, Damian de Allende, Ethan Hooker, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Jasper Wiese, Pieter-Steph du Toit, captain Siya Kolisi, Ruan Nortje, Eben Etzebeth, Wilco Louw, Malcolm Marx and Ox Nche. The substitutes are Deon Fourie, Gerhard Steenekamp, Thomas du Toit, Lood de Jager, Andre Esterhuizen, Cameron Hanekom, Cobus Reinach and Manie Libbok.

South Africa lead the series 2-1 and are seeking their first series win over New Zealand since 1976. The match in Baltimore will be the eighth game between the teams at a neutral venue: South Africa have won four of the previous seven such meetings, while New Zealand have won three.
