The partnership establishes a framework for developing a collaborative ecosystem that promotes technology adoption, digital innovation and capacity development, with particular attention to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the wider business community.

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)  has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA)  at GITEX Nigeria 2026, aimed at strengthening collaboration to advance enterprise digital transformation and support the growth of Nigeria’s digital economy.

The partnership establishes a framework for developing a collaborative ecosystem that promotes technology adoption, digital innovation and capacity development, with particular attention to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the wider business community.

Under the agreement, NITDA and NACCIMA will also work to strengthen partnerships among government, the private sector, technology companies, academia, investors and development institutions. The collaboration is expected to support joint advocacy initiatives and programmes designed to promote a competitive and inclusive digital economy.

A key component of the MoU is strategic collaboration on the development and institutionalisation of the Digital Nigeria International Conference (DNICE) 2026 and subsequent editions. The conference is expected to serve as a platform for strengthening partnerships and accelerating digital transformation and economic growth.

NITDA said the agreement reinforces its commitment to working with the private sector and other stakeholders to accelerate Nigeria’s transition towards a digitally enabled, innovative and globally competitive economy.
