Date set for second edition of Meru University Mt. Kenya run

The 14km race will headline the competition and is expected to attract elite male and female runners looking to test themselves on the challenging course.

Registration for the race is set at Ksh2,500, with the winner taking home Ksh200,000, while the second- and third-placed finishers pocket Ksh150,000 and Ksh100,000 respectively.

The 8km race will feature senior, masters (50 years and above), students and under-20 categories, with registration also set at Ksh2,500.

The top three finishers will receive Ksh40,000, Ksh30,000 and Ksh20,000 respectively.

Kenya handed major boost in Benni McCarthy's Harambee Stars future

The event will also feature an 8km Corporate Run, with registration for a team of five set at Ksh100,000, an 8km CEO Challenge priced at Ksh20,000, a 3km Fun Run at Ksh5,000 and a 3km Children’s Race at Ksh2,500.
