The two sides will invest 5 billion won over five years through a 50-50 matching arrangement. They will establish two automotive maintenance technology education centers in Ghana, each equipped with a hands-on service workshop. The curriculum will also expand beyond its existing focus on internal combustion engine vehicles to include maintenance technologies for future vehicles, such as hybrids and electric vehicles. The new courses will receive official certification from Ghana’s Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) and will be used to train specialized automotive service personnel in Ghana.

Local young people will also receive scholarships, internships, access to job fairs, and entrepreneurship training and consulting. Hyundai Motor Company and KOICA plan to directly support a total of 405 people, including young people and teachers, through the project.
