The This Is Ghana Exhibition is underway at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra, with Thousands of patrons thronging the venue to explore and purchase authentic Ghana-made products.

The two-day exhibition, organised by Citi FM and Channel One TV, brings together Ghanaian businesses, entrepreneurs, artisans and consumers in a vibrant showcase of locally produced goods and services.

From food and beverages to fashion, beauty products, crafts, household items and other locally manufactured products, exhibitors are showcasing the creativity, ingenuity and enterprise of Ghanaian businesses.

Patrons at the venue have the opportunity to interact directly with producers, sample products, make purchases and discover emerging Ghanaian brands.

The event is also providing businesses with an opportunity to increase their visibility, connect with potential customers and establish relationships with prospective business partners and other stakeholders.

Celebrating Made-in-Ghana products

Beyond the commercial opportunities, the This Is Ghana Exhibition is promoting the Made-in-Ghana agenda by encouraging consumers to appreciate and patronise locally produced goods.

The exhibition offers a platform for businesses to tell the stories behind their brands and demonstrate the quality and variety of products being produced locally.

For many small and emerging businesses, the event provides an opportunity to reach a wider audience and gain exposure that may otherwise be difficult to achieve through conventional retail and advertising channels.

The exhibition also highlights the contribution of indigenous businesses to Ghana’s economy through job creation, local production, entrepreneurship and the strengthening of domestic value chains.

Businesses, patrons connect

The bustling atmosphere at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park reflects the strong interest in Ghanaian-made products, as patrons move from one exhibition stand to another, engaging exhibitors and exploring the wide range of products on offer.

The event is expected to continue attracting patrons throughout the weekend as businesses seek to turn the exhibition into new sales, partnerships and lasting customer relationships.

The This Is Ghana Exhibition runs from August 29 to 30, with the venue open to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

The exhibition is powered by Citi FM and Channel One TV and sponsored by Ecobank, MTN, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA).

With hundreds already at the venue, the exhibition is offering a timely reminder of the depth of talent and enterprise within Ghana’s local economy—and giving patrons a chance to experience what Ghana has to offer, all in one place.
