Twenty schools set for FIFA Women’s Football Campaign in Volta Region

Twenty (20) basic schools have been confirmed to participate in the upcoming FIFA Women’s Football Campaign, scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the WAFA Academy in Fiavie, Volta Region.

The participating schools will bring together 300 girls for a day of football, fun activities and skills development aimed at inspiring the next generation of female footballers.

The schools are Toje Basic School, Fievie Basic School, Fievie EP School, Cuniberto Basic, Sogakope Basic, Dendo Primary C, Avorvi Primary B, Sogakope Primary A, Sokpoe DA, Sokpoe PCG, Tefle PCG, Tefle DA, Agorkpo Basic, Comboni Basic, Hlevi Basic, Toklokpo Basic, Avegorme Basic, Vume Basic, Total Child, and Amedzo Bilingual School.

The campaign forms part of FIFA’s commitment to growing the women’s game at the grassroots level while supporting the GFA’s efforts to create more opportunities for young girls to discover and develop their football talent.
