Dambai (O/R), May 17, GNA — Mr Gabriel Lemboe, an aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Oti Regional Chairmanship position, has pledged to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and improve party organisation to enhance the party’s electoral fortunes in the region.

He said building a stronger base at the constituency and branch levels would form the core of his vision if elected.

Launching his campaign under the slogan, “Built in the Struggle. Ready to Lead. Oti to the Next Level,” Mr Lemboe noted that his long-standing involvement in the NDC had equipped him with the experience and commitment required to lead the party in the region.

According to him, his leadership would be anchored on service, discipline, unity, and dedication to the core values of the party.

In campaign materials released ahead of the party’s regional executive elections, Mr Lemboe identified unity and strong organisational structures as key priorities for repositioning the NDC in the Oti region.

He emphasised that a united front, backed by motivated and well-resourced grassroots organisers, would strengthen the party’s engagement with voters and improve its responsiveness to the concerns of communities across the region.

“Who leads Oti? Oti Samora!” the campaign message stated, as Mr Lemboe reaffirmed his readiness to work collaboratively with regional executives, constituency officers, and branch members to advance the party’s agenda.

He said his leadership style would emphasise inclusiveness, open engagement, and active participation of party members at all levels.

Mr Lemboe further indicated that his administration would prioritise effective communication, regular stakeholder consultations, and targeted support for grassroots structures to sustain party morale and improve coordination within the party in the region.

The NDC is preparing to hold its regional executive elections as part of efforts to strengthen its internal structures ahead of future national elections.
