Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has spoken about her preference for money over fame.

Naija News reports that Mercy, in an interview with media personality, Odira Ndubuaku, said she prefers money to fame, stressing that she is willing to sell her fame for 2 billion dollars.

She stated that with 2 billion dollars, she can afford an Island home and a good living for herself and her family.

According to the reality TV star, fame without money is irrelevant, and if she is given a good offer, she would not mind selling her social media accounts and keeping a low profile.

Mercy Eke emphasised that she does not care much about being famous.

She said, “I only enjoy being famous occasionally. I would trade my fame for 2 billion dollars. Wettin dem dey carry fame do? Give me money and delete me from every social media platforms. I would give up my influence, everything for money.”

In other news, winner of the BBNaija Season 6, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as WhiteMoney, has slammed his colleagues, Mercy Eke, and Maria Chike Benjamin.

Whitemoney, during a playful banter on a TikTok live session, mocked Mercy and Maria over their personal life and career choices.

The reality TV star described Mercy as ‘used and dumped’, who was given a Lambo as compensation.

He also criticised Mercy Eke‘s cosmetic procedures and lifestyle, questioning her decisions.

Turning to Maria Chike, WhiteMoney warned her about joining the livestream, claiming that it would expose her in ways she would regret.

He stated, “On this live stream, Maria, you will regret why you joined TikTok. On this live stream, Maria, you will become very, very black. On this live stream, Maria, they will know your true colour.”

WhiteMoney also recalled his interactions with Mercy in the BBNaija House during the ‘All Stars’ edition which he linked to his eviction from the house.
