‘I No Gree’ Do Something To Him – Peller Asks Police To Arrest Shank Comics Over Car Crash

Popular TikToker, Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, has called on the Nigeria Police Force and the Federal Road Safety Corps to arrest fellow content creator, Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, over a recent car crash during a live broadcast.

Peller argued that his own arrest under similar circumstances last year exposed what he described as a double standard in how authorities treat online celebrities.

Shank Comics was seen in a viral video driving a Mercedes at high speed on a highway in Lagos State earlier in 2026 before losing control and crashing.

Although no serious injuries were reported, the incident marked his second publicly known crash within about six months, following another accident in November 2025 that destroyed a vehicle.

As of Saturday, there had been no arrest, vehicle impoundment or official statement from authorities regarding the incident.

Speaking during a livestream that gained traction on social media, Peller insisted that Shank should face the same consequences he faced.

“Guys, you know, see the thing that Shank did. Shank drove a car and crashed the car. Nigeria Police Force, you guys need to jail him. Yes! We no go gree o, we no go gree! If they no do, we no go gree.

“Me, I no go gree. Me, they did something to me after I crashed my car. They should do something to him also so he can face the consequences. He needs to go to jail. I was criticised for crashing my car but people are applauding Shank. It’s not fair,” he said.

Naija News recalls that in December 2025, Peller was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command after he crashed his Mercedes-Benz while livestreaming and driving recklessly along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

Authorities described his actions as dangerous and a threat to public safety.

He was detained for about a week on charges bordering on reckless driving and phone use while operating a vehicle, while the FRSC announced plans to prosecute him.

At the time, public reaction largely condemned his actions.

The contrasting reactions to both incidents have sparked fresh debate on social media, with many questioning what they described as inconsistent law enforcement.

While some users supported Peller’s call and urged authorities to impound Shank’s vehicle, others dismissed his comments as attention-seeking.

As of the time of filing this report, neither the Lagos State Police Command nor the FRSC had issued an official statement regarding the latest crash.
