Video Of Tinubu Standing Up To Hug Fubara, Pat Him On The Back At Port Harcourt Rally Goes Viral

A video showing President Bola Tinubu rising from his seat to warmly embrace Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and pat him on the back at a political rally in Port Harcourt has gone viral on social media.

The incident occurred on Saturday during the Rainbow Coalition rally organised by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

In the video, Fubara is seen walking towards the President on the stage, prompting Tinubu to stand up and welcome him with a hug. The President was also captured patting the governor on the back during the exchange.

The gesture attracted attention as the two leaders shared the moment before other political figures and supporters gathered at the rally venue.

The event, organised by Wike’s political camp under the Rainbow Coalition banner, was aimed at canvassing support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition in Rivers State.

Channels Television shared the video of the encounter, which has since generated reactions across social media.
