The gesture, which was made possible through the Maame Gold Foundation and the support of some of her close friends, is intended to give the veteran actress a fresh start after the unfortunate incident.

The apartment comes with essential household items and furniture to ensure that Adwoa Smart can comfortably settle into her new home without having to worry about starting everything from scratch.

Speaking ahead of the presentation, Maame Gold disclosed that she decided to undertake the project together with her foundation and some of her close pals as a way of honouring the veteran actress, whom she considers a big sister.

According to the businesswoman, Adwoa Smart is someone she has grown fond of, and one thing she has come to know about her is that she hardly talks about her personal challenges, especially when she is going through difficult moments.

Maame Gold recounted that she recently discovered the extent of the actress’s predicament after dropping her off at her residence. It was during that visit that she noticed that the recent floods had destroyed the place where Adwoa Smart lived.

She explained that she initially attempted to offer the actress some assistance after discovering what had happened, but Adwoa Smart declined the help she wanted to give her.

Determined to ensure that the veteran actress received the support she deserved, Maame Gold said she decided to organise a surprise presentation instead.

She revealed that she invited Adwoa Smart to accompany her on what she described as a visit to surprise one of their sisters. However, the actress had no idea that the actual surprise was meant for her.

The moment Adwoa Smart arrived and discovered that the fully furnished apartment had been prepared for her, she could not hold back her emotions.

The veteran actress was overwhelmed with tears as she struggled to contain her excitement and appreciation for the unexpected gesture.

She subsequently blessed Maame Gold for remembering her and coming to her aid at a time when she needed support the most.
