Actress Adwoa Smart Gets Keys to Fully Furnished Home From Admirer Maame Gold

Legendary Ghanaian actress Adwoa Smart has received the gift of a lifetime after businesswoman Maame Gold built and fully furnished a one-bedroom house for her, citing her deep admiration for the veteran actress.

The presentation, held in an atmosphere of joy and emotion, drew family members, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the actress. Maame Gold said she decided to honour Adwoa Smart because of the actress’s contribution to Ghanaian entertainment and the affection she has earned from generations of fans.

An emotional Adwoa Smart expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as a dream come true. She said the gift would change her life in a meaningful way and prayed for blessings upon the businesswoman.

Maame Gold said the decision to build and furnish the house was born out of love and respect rather than a desire for publicity. She noted that veteran actors often give so much to society but receive little in return, and she felt compelled to do something tangible for a woman she has admired for years. The one-bedroom house has been fully furnished with modern fittings, including a bed, wardrobes, kitchen equipment, and other household items, ready for the actress to move in.

Guests at the handover ceremony praised Maame Gold for her generosity, with some describing her as a shining example of how successful individuals can support entertainment icons. They urged other well-meaning Ghanaians to emulate her kindness.

Colleagues in the creative arts industry also celebrated the actress, noting that such gestures help to highlight the welfare of veteran performers. They called for more structured support systems to cater for older artists who have contributed to the growth of the industry.

Adwoa Smart, known for her remarkable acting career, has remained a beloved figure in Ghanaian entertainment. The gift has been widely celebrated on social media, with fans hailing Maame Gold for her thoughtfulness. The businesswoman said she hopes the gesture will inspire others to show love and appreciation to veteran entertainers while they are still alive to enjoy it.
