Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has rallied his players to build on their triumph over Basake Holy Stars to win more matches in the Ghana Premier League.

The team over the weekend recorded their first victory of the 2026/27 league campaign, after going eight matches without a win.

With the 1-0 win providing relief for the under-pressure Winfred Dormon, he insists it is important to continue pushing for similar results in upcoming matches.

“This team has a lot, plenty to correct. This win, which happens to be a historical thing, is our first win of the season. I believe we can only build on this way, going for it into the next game,” Dormon said in his post-match interview.

Despite winning their first Ghana Premier League match, Dreams FC remain bottom of the league table.

In the next round of league matches, Dreams FC will take on Debibi United. That match will be played on Sunday, November 8, at Tuba AstroTurf and will kick off at 3 pm.

A win would get Dreams FC closer to climbing out of the relegation zone.
